Katie Price’s ‘secret celebrity romances’

In her 2010 autobiography, Katie claimed she’d had a sexual fling with Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard. She wrote: “[Frank and I] met out clubbing during my wild partying days in 2000. Frank was very flirtatious with me and really tried it on, but kissing and the odd bl*w-job was as far as it went.” Frank’s agent denied the claims, telling the Daily Star: “"She is wasting her time. He hasn't spoken to her in years and he has no intention of doing so. They were never any more than friends anyway."

In 2000 Katie met David Beckham, whose wife Victoria was collaborating with her then-boyfriend Dane Bowers. I’n her 2004 autobiography, Being Jordan, she wrote: “Dane was DJing and I was standing with [David and Victoria]. Suddenly, I felt someone take my hand and squeeze it gently as if to reassure me that I shouldn’t be overawed by all the hype. It was David. ‘I looked at him in surprise, and he was looking right back at me. Imagine how you would feel if David Beckham held your hand! Victoria was standing right next to him, so I thought I'd better keep my mouth shut. She is so incredibly possessive that if women so much as say they fancy David, she goes mad. "I would have given anything for her to disappear at that moment and leave me alone with one of the world's sexiest men. But I guess I'll never really know what David was thinking.” David has dismissed any claims he and Katie were more than friends. He said: “No offence, but she isn’t my type. My only type is Victoria.”

In Being Jordan, Katie insisted she’d had an on/off relationship with Ralf Schumacher for around three years. However he was quick to deny this, hitting back: “I met her at a PR event when I was working for Jordan [the team]. Her claims about what happened in the years after are just lies.”

When Katie split from husband Alex Reid in 2011, rumours began to circulate suggesting she’d been seeing boxer Amir Khan. But he took to Twitter to address the reports, writing: “So u all no. Papers say its because of me, Katie Price split up with Alex. That’s not true. I got nothing to do with it. We just friends [sic].”

In June 2015, Katie posted a cryptic tweet on footballer Joe Hart’s wedding day – which many took as her suggesting they’d had an affair. While Joe was tying the knot with Kimberly Crew, Katie wrote: “All Harts go out to the married couple is he going to tell her the truth about us xxx [sic].” So far Joe and Kimberly have yet to address the mysterious tweet directly. However, a source told The Sun: “Kim couldn’t care less. She thinks Katie’s a clueless bimbo. She has no concerns about Joe’s loyalty, and told friends ‘In her dreams! She probably wishes she could get her hands on him but she can’t.”

Katie claimed one of the 2014 Strictly Come Dancing contestants had tried to proposition her. During an episode featuring Simon Webbe, EastEnders actor Jake Wood and former TOWIE star Mark Wright, Katie tweeted: “Watching @bbcstrictly funny how he became arrogant v quick & can’t say hi yet 2 years ago were wanting 2 meet me in a hotel & his house mmm [sic].” While unclear, it was quickly speculated that Katie’s message was aimed at Mark – but his spokesperson insisted they’d only met briefly once.

While they were both on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, it was revealed that Katie and former lothario Calum Best had hooked up in the past. He admitted: “I asked her to spit in my mouth.”

Earlier this year, Katie threatened to expose a former ‘secret A List lover’. She told Now! magazine: “He’s a world-famous professional and it’s… ih my God, if people knew. “He’s British. I’m not saying anything more, but any girl would be jealous as f***.” She’s so far remained tight-lipped on the man’s identity, but it is thought she will reveal all in her fifth autobiography which is due this year.
