While Katie Price has lurched from one disastrous relationship to the next, ever since her bitter split from Peter Andre in 2009, she’s had to watch him find happiness and stability with doctor fiancée Emily MacDonagh, with whom he has 14-month-old daughter Amelia.
So after hearing rumours that Pete and Emily are feeling the pressure of their busy careers and are struggling to find time for each other, you’d imagine Jordan would be rubbing her hands with glee. However, insiders say the star – who has Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, with Pete – has been surprisingly sympathetic and is even thinking of reaching out and offering support to Emily.
A close pal of Jordan, 36 – real name Katie Price – who recently renewed her wedding vows to toyboy husband Kieran Hayler, 27 – reveals: “Kieran had been speaking to Emily about the kids and told Katie that Emily sounded rushed off her feet with work and a baby. Katie also heard through mutual pals that Pete and Emily have been struggling to find time for just the two of them.
“Katie is in a really good place with Kieran since renewing their vows and wants Pete and Emily to be as happy. She understands better than anyone how demanding a baby and full-on career can be. She’s told mutual pals she’ll be there for Emily if she ever needs to talk.”
