Bailiffs reportedly demanded £3000 for unpaid electricity bills

Since reports of her imminent bankruptcy, we've seen Katie Price flog her beloved farm animals and shutter a number of her failed businesses in an attempt to raise some cash.

The 40-year-old Loose Woman pannellist, who is said to have 'blown' her £45 million fortune, was also seen advertising her tanning lotion products on Instagram just yesterday.

It's now been revealed that the mum-of-five was visited by bailiffs yesterday to recover a £3000 debt accrued because of unpaid electricity bills.

Apparently, Katie handed over a wad of cash to the debt collectors just before they had a chance to remove goods from her house.

The electrician waiting to be paid, Paul Bean, reportedly went to the county court to try and get the money that he was owed following a dispute with Katie.

He then used bailiffs from the Channel 5’s Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away, but we're unsure if a film crew was present when the handover happened.

A friend of the electrician told The Mirror: "“Katie kept saying she was always going to pay but she never did.

"“[But] she has now because the old court went round there.”

Earlier in the week we shared details on how Katie has been spending her multi-million fortune, which included £10,000 on remortgage payments and £1500 on weekly manicures and pedicures.

Katie doesn't seem to be too fazed by her surrounding financial woes, as yesterday she posted a photo from her holiday to Thailand with Kris Boyson along with the caption 'let's go with our friends'.
