After four years of marriage, Katie, 37, and 42-year-old Pete shocked fans by calling time on their fairytale relationship – and, despite sharing two children, it’s thought they don’t even talk anymore.

Pete, now married to 25-year-old Emily MacDonagh, is currently taking part on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, and Katie is backing him to go all the way.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, the mum-of-five said: “I’m not going to be sitting next to Kieran on the sofa watching Pete. So no, I’m not going to watch it.

“I think Peter will be brilliant because he’s a great dancer and he’ll want everyone to see that. I’d tell anyone to put a bet on him because I think he’s going to win it.”

While Pete’s moved on with doctor Emily, and Katie’s now happy with 28-year-old Kieran, she insists people just can’t let go of the past.

She continued: “We’ve both moved on, but we’re like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – everyone is obsessed with our exes. That is in the past for both of us now.”

Former glamour model Katie – mum to Harvey, 13, Junior, 10, Princess, eight, Jett Riviera, two, and one-year-old Bunny – admitted she’d love to appear on the BBC One show.

She added: “I’ve always wanted to do it. I nearly did the Australian version, but it was difficult to leave the children that long.”
