First Peter Andre revealed he and ex-wife Katie Price are friends again, and now she has admitted she was wrong to allow their daughter to wear make-up.
You’d be forgiven for thinking hell has frozen over.
During yesterday’s Loose Women, new panelist Katie, 37, discussed eight-year-old Princess’ selfies last year, which lead to huge backlash on Instagram.
Mum-of-five Katie said: “You’re all right. I was in the wrong. Princess sees how I pose. She thinks it’s natural.
“Those pictures were taken when we did panto at Christmas and she just saw her mum doing it. I wouldn’t let her go to the shops like that.”
Shortly after the pictures were posted, Katie shared a video on social media of Princess hitting back at the criticism – but this didn’t go down well with dad Pete, 42.
In the clip, Princess said: “By the way, I want to do my make-up, not my mum. I do. And anyway, it’s none of your beeswax! So oosh!”
Katie, now married to former stripper Kieron Hayler, revealed Pete wasn’t impressed with their daughter’s behaviour – and she didn’t disagree.
She said: “He did [get in touch] after the video. He said, ‘She doesn’t speak like that’, and I said, ‘Yeah, you’re right’.”
Pete – who split from Katie seven years ago, and is now happily married to doctor Emily MacDonagh – recently confessed things between him and Katie are better than ever.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, he said: “It’s really strange even with things that have happened in the past, me and Kate we’re ok now. We see each other when we see each other with the kids, and it’s all nice, very civilised.
“We all get on really well which is excellent so that just adds to the peace and the serenity and the kids are really happy and it’s really nice.”
We’re glad to see Katie and Pete have finally managed to work things out!
