Katie Piper, 31, and her partner James got engaged on December 5, 2014 – and have been waiting ever since to get their personalised ring made.

And now, finally, that official diamond is ready!

Taking to Instagram in excitement, Katie wrote happily: "He put the official ring on it!"

The mum-of-one shared a photograph of herself flashing her ring at the camera - but, while we were very excited to see that gorgeous rock, we were a little distracted.

Why? Because standing next to Katie is James himself!

Katie, who was left scarred in a horrific acid attack in 2008, also shared a closeup photo of her ring.

She wrote: "Here is the close up!

"It's everything I wanted and more, thank you @lewismalka for designing such a beautiful and sentimental piece for me.

"Can't stop looking at what I used to class as my bad hand- not anymore :) #engagement #wedding"

It's just beautiful, isn't it?

The happy couple - who became engaged just before Christmas - share a daughter, Belle Elizabeth.

Speaking about James in the past, Katie explained: "My experiences with other men – who couldn't see past my appearance – made me appreciate him so much.

"James restored my faith in humanity."

She emotionally added: "I sometimes look at him and feel like crying because he has no idea how much he's saved me. He's the person I prayed to meet and never thought I would."

We're so glad she's found her happily ever after.
