Piper, who has attended countless hospital and doctor appointments as a result of the acid attack on her back in 2008, shared loved up pictures from her hospital bed this week - revealing on Wednesday that she had been discharged.
On Tuesday night, a tired looking Katie shared a selfie of her and husband Richard, alongside a loving caption.
‘Looking who came to visit me tonight in hospital and had jumped in my bed! Husband has arrived with magazine, fudge and silly faces to make me laugh - but laughing hurts my face!!!’
Then on Wednesday morning, Katie revealed the happy news that she had been released from hospital after her stay, writing: ‘Whoo hop discharged from hospital this morning!!’
And proving that the work never stops despite the countless appointments she has to attend, Katie thanked her style team for helping her get ready to go straight to work, writing:
‘Thank you @Mauriceflynn and @toby_salvietto for coming onto the ward to get me ready for work today! See you all soon @ideal_home_show to talk Confidence.’
