Becoming a parent and giving birth are both magical experiences, but coping with the changes in your body can often be difficult and coming to terms with your post-baby figure even more so.
Charity fundraiser Katie Piper has opened up about her own struggle to get used to her new figure, revealing that she has struggled to get back to her pre-baby size.
The Mirror reports that Katie, 31, would devote hours in the gym in order to shift the pounds.
She said: “'I found it really hard to snap back into shape. I get up at 5am to train before work, but I struggled to lose that extra layer.”
Katie- who is engaged to long term partner James Sutton- revealed that she ‘went crazy’ with food before giving birth to daughter Belle.
“I went crazy and ate loads during the pregnancy, which I really regret now. I'm still not what I was before. I have just over half a stone to lose. I'll have a few good days and then I'll slip up.
“I had pressure to get back into shape as I had a new work wardrobe to get into - but there were days when I had to tie a hair band around my jeans button when they wouldn't do up.”
