The beautiful and courageous Katie Piper, 30, gave birth to baby daughter Belle Elizabeth earlier this year - and she recently became engaged to Belle's father, James.

She posted a quote picture to her Instagram, which read: "The moment you're ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens.

"Don't give up."

And Katie, 31, added emotionally: "V true for me.

"I nearly gave up on love before I met my fiancé - so I glad I didn't!!"

Clearly feeling philosophical, Katie also shared another meaningful quote with her fans.

It read: "My new word: 'Blesson'.

"It's when you're able to view painful lessons as blessings.

"In other words… a bless on is what happens when you see the blessing in the lesson that your challenge taught you."

The inspirational mum-of-one added: "So true, sometimes hard to see it at the time."

Katie Piper has done all she can to keep carpenter James out of the limelight, although she did share an intimate photo of herself and him clutching the hands of baby Belle earlier in the year.

She captioned the cute snap of the three hands: 'Family day."

But, while we haven't seen James and Katie together in public, there's no denying their love for one another.

Gushing about her husband-to-be a few months ago, Katie said: "Before I met James, there were times I didn't cope well.

"Because I'd accepted the way I looked, it was a knock back when the rest of the world wasn't as accepting. When I was ready to start dating, it didn't go well.

"When guys didn't text back, I had to keep reminding myself he might not have fancied me because I was boring – I couldn't always bring it back to being burnt.

"[James is] a normal guy with a normal job, quite private and that's what I liked about him. He hasn't read the new book. I made him read the first one and he got angry. I suppose he feels protective over me but he can't change the past."
