The beautiful and courageous Katie Piper, 30, was an honorary Loose Woman for the day as she joined the panel alongside Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore.

And Katie, who gave birth to her first daughter Belle Elizabeth earlier this year, proved to be a popular choice.

Candid and open, she touched the hearts of viewers when she opened up about her difficulty in finding love after she was left scarred by a horrific acid attack in 2008.

She said: "Sometimes I wondered if it wasn't the burns, I was just boring.

"I went on a date with one guy and he said he saw someone he knew on the other side of the restaurant and went off and never came back

"It really affected my confidence."

As the audience gasped in outrage, Loose Women's Andrea McLean added: "But now you've found your lovely man, James!"

Katie smiled as the audience cheered, before saying: "Yes. I'm a firm believer in the ira that everything happens for a reason… so all these idiots were there so that I would find James

"It's their loss!"
