Katie Hopkins has made no secret of the fact that she is supporting the Conservatives in the General Election, threatening to up sticks and leave our shores for good if Labour come into power.

Writing in her column for The Sun, she said: “If more people vote for a bloke who will break the economy all over again and wants people to believe aspiration is a bad thing then – as a self-appointed Dragon – I am out.

“I will leave the country and head for one of the poorest countries on the planet – because that is what Great Britain will turn into under Red Ed.”

It was a promise that Hopkins will not be forced to keep, however, as exit polls have predicted a Conservative majority, and Labour have lost almost all of their seats in Scotland to the SNP.

And it seems as if, judging by Katie’s Twitter feed, that she has taken the Tory victory as a sign that the people are backing her.

She wrote happily: “I will be staying in the UK and intend to become @David_Cameron new Fat Tsar.

“He is not aware of this yet. #GE2015”

Katie also went on to explain what life in the UK would be like under her rule, writing firmly: “If I was PM there would be no more fat people in the UK.

“Lose weight, or chuff off chubsters #GE2015”

She continued to reveal her own policies, insisting that she plans to “stop foreign aid, reinforce military, free up SME's, bring voting on-line, Aussie style immigration, [and] charge chubsters for NHS.”

Which, as one follower pointed out, were “basically UKIP’s policies”.
