The social commentator was live tweeting the hit ITV show when she took a dislike to the bookies’ favourite to win.

She told followers: “Andrew would be better suited to The Voice. Before the chairs turn around.”

The 39-year-old then wrote: “I sodding hope that Andrea’s fillings aren’t magnetic. Or that microphone is heading straight for his stomach.”

Andrea wasn’t the only one to feel Hopkins’ wrath during the Saturday night live performances.

She wrote about the 8-piece boy band: “Stereo Kicks have a standard issue haircut. And are stood in like waiting for the Number 10 bus to rock up.”

The judges failed to escape Katie’s cutting words either.

“Only The Young,” she typed. “Managing to make four grown adults on a judging panel look like petty kids.”

Katie did, however, take a shine to wild car entry Lola Saunders.

She said (in very un-Katie Hopkins-like fashion): ‘Lola is de-lovely and delicious. If this is a competition to find one of life’s true gens, then it has unearthed a beauty.”
