The 36-year-old former footballer was believed to be favourite to win the show at one point, and Katie was among those outraged at his early exit.
She tweeted: "A national outrage. You foolish numpties. A slight of hand in the edit and you vote the King of the Jungle out. Banter is banter."
Some viewers turned against Jimmy this week, when an argument between him and Jake was deemed 'bullying'.
Jimmy has defended it as simply 'banter', and last night upon his exit claimed viewers didn't see Jake going for him, too.
Katie seemed to agree, writing: "now we have a torturous week without comedy in the camp. See how shocked they all were? Because THEY have the full story. You don't.
"Jimmy: 'you didn't hear what Jake had to say first'. No Jimmy, we didn't. ITV have plans for the thick inbred in their stable."
The 38-year-old social commentator then suggested that ITV had manipulated Jimmy's 'argument' to show him in a bad light.
She said: Tell you what @ITV, manipulate all the characters out of camp and we will watch prats more bland than rice and beans. Good plan.
"Bullard destined to he King of the Jungle. Show his edited bants. Drive votes for & against him. Voting numbers up. Revenue up."
Do you agree with Katie's comments?
