The reality star dramatically quit the show after just three days in the jungle and, in last night's episode, we saw Gemma Collins finally exit the camp.

And Katie Hopkins, who was live-tweeting the episode from the comfort of her own home, was quick to make her views on Gemma's departure very clear.

She tweeted: "'I'm Gemma and I'm in the jungle to find myself'. The space station astronauts could find Gemma.

"Gemma doesn't need to sit in the jungle to find herself. She needs to sit in KFC."

Katie did not stop there, however, continuing to slam Gemma's weight.

She said: "One day after Gemma swears she will never say starving again, here she is 'starving'. At 22 stone. Starving I tell you.

"Gemma has got her bingo wings out. Not so much a bingo wing. More a full house."

And, in a particularly disgusting post, she added: "Gemma sneezed. And accidentally wee'd a bit of gravy."

Katie's comments come shortly after she appeared on This Morning to defend a woman struggling with her weight.

The controversial social commentator gained several stone in a bid to prove that it IS possible to lose weight through diet and exercise.

Meanwhile, Gemma, 33, struggled in the jungle from the moment the show launched, bursting into tears when she discovered she had to ride in a helicopter to camp.

A spokesman for I’m A Celebrity said: "We're sorry to see Gemma go but respect her decision and wish her well."
