The 40-year-old left some flabbergasted when it was revealed she could be crowned the best celeb mum.

But Katie doesn’t seem surprised, suggesting that the nod reaffirms her controversial opinions.

She tweeted: “Celebrity mum of the year?! How about that stay-at-homers, turns out my world view is right after all.”

Many users on Twitter voiced their anger at Katie being considered for the award after some of her previous comments.

Katie – who is mum to daughters Poppy and India and son Maximillian – previously insisted she wouldn’t let her children play with kids with names such as Chardonnay and Tyler.

She also shockingly confessed that she doesn’t think her daughters are good looking.

When asked how she’d react if Maximillian came out as gay. Katie replied: “I think he might be – I mean, he’s quite good-looking, like my girls aren’t good-looking but he totally is.”

Reacting the news on Twitter, one user wrote: “ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I hope her children grow up to realise it’s not acceptable to bully & insult people!!! I’m outraged!”

Another added: “Surely this has got to be a joke?! She’s absolutely vile [sic]”
