Katie Hopkins has attacked the BBC after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked earlier this week following reports that he ‘punched’ a Top Gear producer.
Katie, 40, jumped to the presenter’s defence in her latest column for The Sun.
She wrote: “Deciding to suspend Jeremy Clarkson is a little bit like hanging the Queen.
“The nation watches in horror, the culprits look like utter gits and Britain loses a national treasure.”
She then launched into a scathing attack aimed towards the BBC, accusing them of rinsing tax payers with their ‘huge salaries’.
She finished with: “Get Clarkson back on Top Gear, get the show back on the air and stop playing who’s got the biggest willy.”
Katie- who came second in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother- tweeted earlier this week: “Clarkson's suspension has nothing to do with a minor bust up. It is the jealousy of the dim-witted left v the quick-witted right.
A petition to sack Jeremy Clarkson has popped up online in response to another petition demanding for the presenter to be asked to return to Top Gear.
