Earlier this year it was reported that Katie Hopkins’ proposed debate show had been canned after celebrities refused to appear on it.

But not the former Apprentice star has confirmed that the show WILL be hitting our screens after all.

Titled If Katie Hopkins Ruled The World, the topical show will air on TLC this summer.

The programme will see the 40-year-old voice what rules she would create in her ideal society.

The mum-of-three took to Twitter to share her news, writing: "The list of things we can't say is greater than the things we can. The fightback begins on my new show for @tlc_uk."

Katie then added: "Thank you for all the kind words about my new TV show, 'If Katie Hopkins Ruled The World'. @caitlinmoran thanks for the flowers @tlc_uk."

Stars such as Katie Price previously refused to appear on the show, causing problems for producers.
