The controversial social commentator suggested that Kim piercing North’s ears made her ‘more ugly.’
Katie also claims that piercing your baby’s ears is a sign that you are from a lower social class.
The former Apprentice contestant took to Twitter to hit out at the 33-year-old reality star, posting a photo of 1-year-old North West with the caption: ‘If there’s one thing worse than an ugly baby it’s an ugly baby with pierced ears.’
Katie then wrote: ‘Piercing holes in the head of your baby is a strong indicator of social class. More downstairs than up.’
North was pictured wearing diamond earrings whilst on her way to a Children’s Museum in Manhattan with mum Kim, 33, and father Kanye West, 37.
Both Kim and Kanye West came from comfortable backgrounds, with Kim growing up in an affluent Los Angeles suburb and attending a private school.
Kanye came from a middle class background, growing up in a suburb of Chicago.
Many celebrities have pierced their baby’s ears. Along with Kim Kardashian, model Gisele Bundchen has also pierced her baby’s ears, with it being a traditional practice in her native Brazil.
