Samm Newman’s account was suspended just hours after she posted a picture of herself posing in her underwear, with the social network citing "violating community guidelines" as the reason.

Speaking to NBC news, the size 24 teen said:
“I didn’t find [the briefs] or the bra at all inappropriate.
“Fat is not a bad word.
“How confident can you be if you keep censoring yourself because people don't want to look at you?”
Instagram responded to the accusations, releasing a statement that reads:
"When our team processes reports from other members of the Instagram community, we occasionally make a mistake. In this case, we wrongly removed content and worked to rectify the error as soon as we were notified. We apologise for any inconvenience."
However following the news, controversial social commentator Katie took to Twitter to slam the American teen's picture, writing:
“This image should be pulled down. If only on the basis that no 19 year old should be this fat and be proud of it.”
