Katie Hopkins blasts two striking teachers over their weight in cruel Twitter jibe

Katie Hopkins took her criticism of the teaching strike even further by blasting two union members for their weight.

The Apprentice star took to Twitter to post a photo from a conference following the teachers strike yesterday.

The twit-pic came just a day after Katie’s Twitter rant where she claimed that teachers shouldn’t be allowed to strike and that they were ‘lazy’ in doing so.

The photo in question featured two union members in NUT t-shirts making a speech. Katie made a cruel and sarcastic jibe about the speakers’ size, tweeting: ‘And these teachers are protesting because they work so hard they barely have time to eat.......erm.....’

The controversial social commentator then posted a photo of teachers marching past a betting shop with the caption: ‘These teachers had enough of pretending to care about the strikes and headed off to the bookies.’

Katie seemed to forget about posting a photo earlier on in the day of her at Mecca Bingo clutching her numbers alongside a beer.

The only difference between Katie and the teachers is that there is no evidence of the teachers spending a weekday gambling…
