The controversial social commentator tweeted: ‘Facebook is down? Can this be true! What will 'Full time mummies' do with their day?’

The tweet came after popular social media site Facebook ran into technical difficulties, leaving users unable to log into their accounts and scroll through their newsfeed.

Katie has regularly tweeted her opinions about stay-at-home mothers, famously tweeting last year: ‘Full time mummy is not an occupation, it is merely a biological status.’

The former Apprentice contestant is famously outspoken about her own approach to parenting, choosing to work fulltime instead of staying at home.

Earlier this year she wrote on her Twitter page: Full time mummy is not a job title. It is a biological status… wherever 'full time mummy' goes, the 'hardest job in the world' is never far behind, clutching at her skirts - reminding us all how terribly brave her choice has been.’

Katie is a mother of three children and has worked for the duration of her children’s upbringing.
