Katie Hopkins is not one to hold back when it comes to feuding on Twitter, but even her most loyal of followers were shocked after she launched into an attack on former Loose Women star Denise Welch.
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant tweeted from her account: “Please be aware - if your tweet contains the words Denise or Welsh (aka fat twat) you will be blocked.”
Katie’s attack came after Denise, 56, described the ex Apprentice star’s open letter to her children as ‘sickening’.
In the letter, Katie admits to her children that her epilepsy will inevitably kill her.
Denise then referred to a previous tweet that Hopkins had sent out into the Twittersphere, where she claimed that ‘all ginger people should get the death penalty, and all Scots and the people of Wales’.
The actress called Hopkins’ tweet ‘desperate, unfunny and very sad’.
This isn’t the first time that Katie, 40, has been involved in a social media war with former/current members of the Loose Women panel.
During the most recent series of Celebrity Big Brother, Katie locked horns with panelist Nadia Sawalha.
Following her near win, Katie appeared on the topical day time show where she faced interrogation from the panel.
Something tells us that this Twitter feud isn’t about to die down any time soon!
