Katie Hopkins' appearance on Celebrity Juice was cancelled following news that Peaches Geldof died.
She revealed the news on Twitter, saying simply: "I was postponed until the autumn because Peaches died"
Katie had originally told her Twitter followers that she was meant to pop up on the satirical ITV2 show this week, but was cancelled after the tragic death of Peaches. And, last week, Katie retweeted a string of angry messages that appear to confirm that Peaches' death was the reason.
"I sincerely apologise to you all," she wrote, before sharing a link to another tweet by Georgia Laycock, which said:
"I don't understand why @KTHopkins can't be on TV because of the sad news about Peaches. They had a debate on TV. That is all #confused"
Katie then went on to retweet a series of Twitter posts, all of which seemingly imply that the reason she was axed from the show was due to the sad passing of 25-year-old Peaches.
"I couldn't have put I better myself:," she added, introducing the post which read: "Tonight's scheduled episode of #CelebrityJuice featuring @KTHopkins has been postponed until the Autumn due to Peaches Geldof's passing."
Katie also hinted that she will be having her say on Peaches' untimely death in her weekly column, revealing she has "so much to say, so few words to say it all in".
This comment comes after Katie was been slammed by Twitter followers for refusing to comment on the tragic death of Peaches Geldof.
The pair famously fell out on an episode of This Morning, which saw the pair get into a heated debate over the subject of Attachment Parenting - a debate which followed them home from the studio and onto Twitter.
