'I don't want to spend time thinking about the size of my a**e. I want to be healthy and I want to have as much fun as I can have,’ she told a UK magazine.

'I want to be around for my children. That's it. Those are the priorities. Not getting a flat stomach.

However Kate did admit being healthy is a priority: 'Don’t get me wrong, I like staying fit and healthy, it’s all part of a healthy attitude to life. I don’t think I’m alone in this.'

The 37 year-old, who is expecting her third child, said that she thinks the attitude towards body image is changing in Hollywood.

She told a UK magazine that there are 'more and more curvier actresses out there.’

Kate is expecting her third child after marrying her third husband Ned Rocknroll in December last year. She already has two children – daughter Mia Honey, 13, by first husband Jim Threapleton and son Joe Alfie, 9, by second husband Sam Mendes.

Despite having married twice before, the actress recently told a UK newspaper she still believes in true love.

She said: 'Of course I still believe in love. It’s up there with great food and the love for one’s child.

'My parents have been very happily married for well over 40 years now so to have grown up with that level of togetherness in the home was definitely something that was important to me and I’m sure I still carry that.'
