Prince William tried his hand (or his vocal chords) at karaoke earlier this week with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift, but Kate Middleton opted for another, more elegant Christmas tradition at the London SportsBall last night.
Yup. The Duchess of Cambridge, lovingly dubbed the royal fashionista by her adoring public, only went and added her own twist to the classic LBD!
Mmhmmm, the Duchess walked down the red carpet in a laser-cut Temperley cocktail dress, accessorising with a pair of five-inch Jimmy Choo pumps.
Kate, formally known as Catherine, also appeared to have given herself a subtle hair makeover; her locks have been darkened, trimmed and blow-dried to bouncy, voluminous perfection.
She's redefined the phrase "yummy mummy" completely, hasn't she?
However, while she left little Prince George at home, sources have claimed that she did not leave him with a nanny; instead, she would have left him in the capable hands of his daddy or with a family member.
Talking to US Weekly, the royal insiders said: "Kate doesn't want George to be more used to the sight of the help than to his own parents."
The duchess' rules: her duties "cannot take her far from London, and overnight trips are forbidden".
"[She and Prince William] look at their friends and see how they have managed raising a baby while having careers," explained an insider. "They don't see why it should be so different for them."
The goal, said the insider, "is to keep a normal environment around George."
