The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly considering a home birth for the upcoming birth of her third child, which is due in April

It has been reported by a royal source that Kate will be giving birth to the third royal baby at home in Kensington Palace or Anmer Hall.

The source said "Catherine has said that she would love to have her baby at home. She has discussed it with William and he is being very supportive. They both think it would be lovely for the family to have a home birth, particularly for George and Charlotte".

However, this isn't the only reason why the family think it's a good idea. The couple are reportedly concerned about the practical impact a royal birth has on a hospital, with the source confirming "They were concerned about the chaos caused with the first two children as hundreds of press and public camped outside for several days, and they would like to avoid a repeat if they could. They don't think it's fair on other patients at the hospital or people visiting their relatives''.

The iconic Lindo Wing of the St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington is where Kate gave birth to both Prince George and Princess Charlotte - the same place that Prince Harry and Prince William were both in the 1980's.

We wonder which option Kate will choose?
