The day after the christening of her son, Kate picked up her charitable duties to attend the 100 Women in Hedge Fund dinner which was raising money for Action on Addiction, a charity Kate is patron of.

The new mum stunned in an ink blue, silk Jenny Packham dress.

Asked about the christening, which was attended by the Queen, close family and a small group of close friends, Kate said George had been 'such a good boy'.

This was the first official solo engagement for the Duchess who is slowly returning to her public duties since giving birth to the future heir in July.

Official pictures of the christening were released today, and see Prince William and Kate sit with Prince George peacefully on his mums lap. The Queen sits proudly next to Kate, with the Royal family and the Middletons surrounding them.
