Former Big Brother star, Kate Lawler, has revealed that she and her fiancé Martin are expecting a baby girl.
Kate, 40, announced the news on Instagram with a short clip of her and her husband holding a pair of pink sparkly baby All Stars whilst Beyonce’s anthem Run The World (Girls) can be heard in the background. Not only will their baby be well dressed, it seems like she’s also going to have great music taste too.
Captioning the post, Kate said, “THE BOYS ARE NOW OUTNUMBERED. My long term plan to assume control over the household is nearly complete (Just Kidding).
“We are both delighted to share with you all, that we are having a little girl. Happy Sunday everyone x”.
The ‘boys’ to whom Kate is referring to are her fiancé Martin and her dog Baxter. Their second dog, Shirley, makes up the rest of the family.

Kate announced that she was pregnant in September with an adorable picture of her two dogs sitting next to the sonogram with the caption, “Still can’t believe we’re adding another set of paws to our pack and this time it’s not another dog. Our little human is due February 2021.”
Kate and Martin decided to try for a baby after their wedding was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with Hello magazine she said, “The wedding got cancelled and I wasn’t thinking about a baby at all but when we rebooked it for the following year, a few of our friends and family said we could have a baby between now and then. I laughed.”
Apparently, Kate’s 40th birthday helped to seal the deal. She explained, “I turned 40 in May and suddenly I felt grown up and like I was ready for something and didn’t know what it was. We realised we should start trying straight away to avoid having a newborn at the wedding, so we did. We gave it one shot and it happened.”
