A source told Grazia that the cake failed to survive the trip from Paris to Florence for the highly anticipated nuptials.
‘The cake incident was a disaster,’ that said. ‘It was a huge, beautiful cream filled white and gold confection, but it toppled during the drive to Italy. It’s caused catering chaos.’
‘Kim’s been really upset about it and emergency pastry chefs have been called in to try and salvage the situation...’
Sadly, a cake from the local bakers probably just won’t cut it for the wedding of the year.
Guests are reportedly being flown from Paris to Florence for the wedding ceremony, and a photo from inside the plane has been making the rounds on Twitter.
