The Kardashians have realeased their festive family card ahead of Christmas Day.

We're used to seeing outlandish and opulant Xmas pictures but this year the reality television bunch have gone for something a little more low key.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars took to their social media pages last night to reveal the 2015 card and it features the youngest members of the family.

In the snap, Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West can be seen sitting alongside Kourtney Kardashian’s kids Mason, Penelope and Reign but Kim’s newborn son Saint isn’t in the picture.

The little ones are all wearing black and are displaying their best behaviour as they look up for the camera.

Posting the snap on Twitter, Kim simply wrote: “CHRISTMAS CARD 2015,” before adding: “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.”

Sister Kourtney tweeted: “All you need is love. Merry Christmas!”

However, the card featuring only the children almost didn't happen – Kris Jenner had intended for the whole family to be in the card.

But the momager couldn’t get her brood together as there is so much going on in their lives.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Kris was trying to arrange the shoot back at the beginning of November. Kim was still pregnant and Scott and Kourtney were barely speaking, he was in rehab at the time.

“Kris and Caitlyn are doing much better but it’s a work in progress. They’ve made a lot of strides but it’s not perfect and Kris wasn’t ready to be posing with her ex on their Christmas card, it just didn’t feel right to her.

“Kris was talking about getting David LaChapelle or Terry Richardson to shoot the card but they threw in the towel before they even got to that stage.”
