Kanye West reveals why there were cameras filming his proposal to Kim Kardashian

Kanye West went to great lengths to impress fiancée Kim Kardashian with his elaborate marriage proposal, hiring an entire stadium and a 50-piece orchestra for the occasion, as well as inviting her closest friends and family along… not to mention that ring!

'We could decide later or not if we wanted to air it'

And now it has been revealed that Kanye had the whole thing filmed in order to ‘make Kim happy.’

‘When we got engaged I made sure the show was there [filming] because I felt like that's something that would make her happy,’ said Kanye, 36, in a US radio interview on Monday.

‘Regardless of how it was shot, I felt like this is a moment she would like to have and would like to share, and just have that documented. And we could decide later or not if we wanted to air it,’ he added.

The rapper – who famously steers clear of his fiancée’s family reality TV show - went on to admit that ‘making sacrifices’ has made the couple stronger in the long-run.

His comments follow October reports claiming the couple is suing YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for allegedly leaking the proposal video.

Meanwhile, it would seem that Kim and Kanye – who simulated sex on camera for Kanye’s recently released ‘Bound 2’ video – are getting a taste for airing their intimate moments on screen.

The famous couple could be filming their wedding according to a US magazine, whose insider told them: ‘If they choose to film the wedding, it will be filmed by them, not a TV crew. And they'd sell it to a network.’
