The alleged confrontation is said to have happened at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge, where Kanye apparently demanded to know why Anna chose writer and director Lena over reality star Kim.
A source told a US website: “Kanye knows it’s always been a huge dream of Kim’s to be on the Vogue cover and he wants to make it come true. If nothing else, Kanye is persistant.”

The insider added that Kanye was made even more upset by the situation as he counts Anna Wintour as a friend, and finds it insulting that she won’t put his fiancée on the cover of her magazine.
The source added: “He’s upset that Anna isn’t willing to do do him this personal favour and put Kim on the cover.”
According to the source, Kanye thinks Anna is listening to ‘a bunch of know-nothing corporate haters’ and that Kim is ‘just as talented as Lena, if not more so.”
It was during a radio interview last year when Kanye first spoke of his desire to see Kim grace the cover of the iconic fashion magazine.
At the time, he said that Kim was ‘the most intriguing woman right now’ and that there was ‘no way she shouldn’t be on the cover.’
