The rapper is apparently under police investigation for confronting the 18-year-old who called his wife-to-be a "n****r lover"
The reality star was walking into a medical building on Monday when she was swarmed by paparazzi. According to an American news site, the unidentified 18-year-old allegedly started shouting racist slurs at the press while holding the door open for Kim in an attempt to help her escape the cameras.
However Kim was shocked at the language, telling the man he shouldn't ever use racist slurs. In response, he allegedly turned on Kim and screamed:
"Fk you bch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n****r lover. Stupid s**t."
An upset Kim then called Kanye West, father of her child North and her husband to be, who was nearby.
He then apparently turned up to meet Kim, before entering the area where the 18-year-old was sitting.
According to the website, Kanye then "punched the guy" while Kim shouted: "We've got it all on tape!"
The men were separated and police were called to the scene, where the 18-year-old decided to press charges.
Police officers explained to the New York Daily News: "Kanye was named as a suspect by the victim as well as witnesses.
"He had left prior to our arrival and detectives are currently investigating."
