Justin Timberlake shuns London luxury for ‘no frills’ budget hotel

Unlike his pop star pals Jay-Z and Rihanna, Justin Timberlake snubbed London’s luxury hotels to stay at a Premier Inn on Sunday.

The singer, who headlined the Yahoo! Wireless festival on Friday and Sunday, reportedly stayed at the Stratford, East London branch of the budget hotel chain.

According to a UK newspaper’s source, the Sexyback singer chose the £95 room because he ‘doesn’t like too much fuss.’

A member of his entourage told the newspaper: ‘It’s great, it’s right on site.

‘We’re having a chilled-out get-together with the guys after the gig — beer, cider, burgers and chips, no frills.’

They added: ‘Justin doesn’t like too much fuss and we’re leaving early to go back to the US anyway.’

The singer’s fellow headliner Jay-Z wouldn’t be caught slumming it though. The hip-hop star, who Justin performed with on Sunday, arranged his own private accommodation elsewhere.

Meanwhile Rihanna – who made a surprise cameo appearance onstage with the duo on Sunday - stayed at London’s swanky 45 Park Lane Hotel. She was pictured leaving the up-market accommodation this morning wearing gun earrings.

During JT and Jay-Z’s two-and-a-half-hour collaborative set which closed the third and final night at Wireless Festival, the super-cool Suit and Tie singer played guitar for Jay-Z’s big hit ’99 problems.’

Their performance kicked off the start of the pair’s upcoming ‘Legends of the Summer’ tour which will run for one month across stadiums in North America.

We wonder if JT will be using budget hotels for the whole 12-date tour?!
