The artwork, which covers the entire width of the inside of his elbow on his left arm, is the singer's 16th tattoo in just three years.

Pattie Mallette is yet to comment on the tattoo, but recently admitted that she believes her son doesn't always make the best decisions.

'I'm also not naive to think that my child is perfect and making all the best decisions'

‘I definitely think he's getting a bad rap, but I'm also not naive to think that my child is perfect and making all the best decisions of his life,’ she told a US TV show.

Adding: ‘He knows what I disagree with, and he knows all the things that I'm really proud of him for, too. I mean, people don't talk about all the great things he does every day.’

Famed celebrity tattoo artist, 'Bang Bang', who is responsible for Justin’s latest ink, posted a second photo of him and the star on his shops Instagram account with the caption: ‘‘Eye’ got that @justinbieber please believe ya!’

A go-to tattooist for Hollywood’s A-list, 'Bang Bang' has a very impressive celebrity client list, including Rihanna, Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Cara Delevingne, who also shared a snap of her new ‘Made in England’ foot tattoo on Sunday.

The Beauty and a Beat singer has received a backlash of criticism in the past few months for his behavior.

Most recently, he was accused of spitting in a DJ’s face while he partied in an Ohio nightclub over the weekend.

The alleged incident occurred after Justin reportedly thought the DJ was trying to take a picture of him.

Speaking about the incident the Ohio man told a US showbiz website: ‘Two of Bieber's bouncers approached me and said I was trying to take pictures of Bieber.’

'It's sad that people would copycat other bogus stories to gain attention'

‘He called my mom something, called my dad something, called me something...and spit in my face,' he claimed.

A spokesperson for Justin is yet to comment on the allegations but a close source to the singer told a British newspaper website:

'Everything's been going well on tour. It's sad that people would copycat other bogus stories to gain attention for themselves.'
