Presenting legend Judy Finnigan, 70, has quit television for her 'health and happiness'
Her daughter Chloe Madeley, 30, revealed: "My mum is done with TV and if she went back to it I don’t think it would make her happy. She wants to concentrate on other things, such as her health and our family," she told The Sun.
Chloe also reportedly commented on how Judy has lost weight after following a healthier, more wholesome diet since walking away from TV work.
Judy became a household name when she started presenting ITV's This Morning in 1988 with her husband Richard Madeley, 62. The iconic pair then moved across to Channel 4 in 2001 and co-hosted the teatime show Richard & Judy.
Judy's last TV appearance was as a panellist on Loose Women in 2015. Richard continues to regularly present Good Morning Britain and his Sunday show on Radio 2.
Speaking about continuing to present without his wife, Richard said: "We used to spend every minute of every day together. That doesn’t happen any more but it hasn’t changed anything between us.”
He also once called his wife "the most reluctant TV presenter I've ever known".
