Josie Gibson has recently said she is down to 11 stone from 17 following a strict diet and exercise programme.

Josie Gibson wowed guests at a showbiz party last night, looking stunning in a skintight gold dress and showing just how far she has come in her weight loss journey.

The Big Brother winner spoke to Closer in June about her difficult relationship with food, and was driven to take up a weight loss plan after seeing unflattering bikini pictures of herself earlier this year. She has recently said she is down to 11 stone from 17 following a strict diet and exercise programme.

Josie said: 'I’m squeezing into a size 10 now – if they’re a little bit elasticated. I’d like to get into a comfortable size 10. No further. I’d look like a crackhead if I went down to a size 8!

Josie, 29, who endured a difficult split from boyfriend John James Parton in 2011, has admitted she turned to alcohol and fattening takeaways after her breakup.

She works out three times a week doing interval training – short intense bursts of exercise – as well as taking her dog for a brisk walk every day.

Since seeing photographs of herself in early summer, Josie followed a plan that sees her eat six times a day, including a breakfast of fruit and yoghurt, vegetable soup for lunch, grilled salmon for dinner, plus three snacks of cottage cheese on oat cakes, rice cakes or fruit in between.
