Writing to the 35-year-old star, Josie stated:
'@misskatieprice I'm not sure if I'm more hurt or disappointed with the fact you have called me disgusting. I completely idolised you through my difficult teen years - you came across as such a strong woman and good mother that I wanted to have your attitude to life.'
She continued: 'In fact, I would say that it's due to your TV shows that I managed to cope with the bullying - you really was my idol.'
'All I wanted from life was the same ballsy attitude towards horrible people that you had - and to have a life that you made look so luxurious.'
'I like many young girls was highly influenced by you. I think it's a shame that you turn your back on fans so easy in order to make a quick bit of press and to win over some people who share the same opinion as you.'
'I think it's important to make clear that I have no intentions of copying your career - I'm no threat - you're a decade older.'
'I have no intentions of going away anytime soon. So step aside babe - I'm here to stay.'
She rounded off with: 'I have no intentions of going away anytime soon. So step aside babe - I'm here to stay.'
Katie wrote in her magazine column this week that she found Josie 'absolutely disgusting,' and that comparisons she had made to her were false.
Josie, who rose to fame by having a boob job on the NHS, was quick to hit back, telling Katie: 'Babe, you've got it all wrong - I never looked up to you as a career role model, just as a hard working mother.'
She went onto reference Katie's sex tape, digging the knife in further when she wrote: 'Truth is, like most of the country - I find Emily MacDonagh a real role model. She's well educated with class.'
Katie has not directly responded to these tweets, although she did post a cryptic 'hahaha that's funny,' leading some followers to suggest she was referring to Josie's comments.
