The new series will see past show favourites taking to the ice again. Ex-Hollyoaks actress Jorgie came runner-up on the 2012 show.

Love rat Sylvain broke Jorgie’s Hollyoaks co-star Jennifer Metcalfe’s heart after leaving her on Christmas day for his partner on last year’s show, Samia Ghadie.

Speaking about the moment when she was told who she would be dancing with, Jorgie said: “It was all very dramatic when I found out who my partner was.

“They told me live on camera and I ended up on the floor. I did warn him that I have kicked someone in the head before.”

Sylvain was in a relationship with Jorgie's friend Jennifer, before leaving her for his last Dancing on Ice partner

Jorgie has warned that if he tries it on with her she’ll ‘jusk kick him in the balls’ and says: “My boyfriend is way cooler than Sylvain.”

But, despite her warnings, Jorgie revealed that her boyfriend James and Sylvain are actually friends.

She said: “Sylvain gets on with my boyfriend, they went out for lunch together, without me.”

Jorgie also said that Jennifer is cool with the paring and has given the pair her blessing.

She said: “I think Jen knew that was going to happen, all my friends did. Jen’s really cool about it.”

Talking about the competition, Jorgie said: I hope we get as far as I did with matt because I don’t think Sylvain has ever got to the final.

“I’ll get fresh costumes, I’m so excited. I just want to wear them in the street. But they are pretty skimpy!”
