It should have been a day of celebration for Jordan and Kieran Hayler when they renewed their vows two weeks ago. But it was her former best friend Jane Pountney’s 10-month affair with Kieran that threw a shadow over the day, after Jordan hit out at her betrayal in a series of vicious digs.
Now, in a shocking twist, pals say the 36-year-old star has been left livid after discovering Jane, 49, has been desperately trying to arrange a face-to-face meeting with her and husband Kieran through her former husband Derrick – who Jordan has remained close friends with.
A source says: “Jane and Derrick’s marriage crumbled after her affair with Kieran was exposed, but they have remained in contact as they have children together. Katie has stayed close to Derrick, but was livid when he told her Jane has been begging him to arrange a meet up with her and Kieran. Katie told him she has no intention of ever seeing her again and definitely wouldn’t let her anywhere near Kieran. Jane wants to apologise for what happened and be forgiven but Katie says she’ll never forgive or forget.”
