Posing for a glossy magazine photo shoot last week, Jordan was almost unrecognisable as she showed off an elegant new look in a demure dress with slicked-back hair, and without her trademark heavy fake tan.
And pals say her style transformation is all part of her bigger plan to reinvent herself, appeal to an even wider audience and rake in as much money as possible.
A source reveals: "She’s told friends she now feels her big boobs might have actually held her back and that she’ll make millions with her natural look. She sees that her old image was working against her, and believes her new classier image will allow her to land a fashion collaboration and TV presenting work.”
Jordan, 36 – who has Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, Princess, seven, Jett, 19 months, and seven-month-old Bunny – had gradually been retiring her sexier image over the past year, opting for more modest looks.
In November she underwent her seventh breast operation to reduce her chest from a 32FF to a 32C. But in February she was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after her body rejected an implant, leading to an infection. She had to have them both removed, leaving her with her natural 32B chest.
Two weeks later she debuted an androgynous new look during a Fashion For Relief catwalk show, wearing a tuxedo and slicked-back hair, and pals say the media attention she received sparked her new style overhaul.
A source says: “The stylist who worked with her for that fashion show is now working as Katie’s personal stylist, as she credits him with getting her so much attention. She loves all the attention she gets from her toned-down look.”
Last week she revealed she loved her new body, saying: “One thing I’ve noticed is that people stare at my eyes now instead of my boobs. I’ve received a lot of compliments. People have been coming up to me saying I look so tiny and so much better without the boobs.”
