The couple were snapped together yesterday afternoon in the festival's VIP section and appeared to be getting to know each other a little better, by way of a good old snog in the sun.
The pair were also later reported to have been wandering around holding hands for most of the day.
The kiss caused a social media frenzy – with everyone wanting to know the ‘mystery brunette’ was.
However, in a twist to the tale – it turned out that the girl Joey was kissing was in fact a childhood friend of Sam’s.
According to sources, the pair have been mates since they were in primary school and by the looks of Sam’s Twitter feed – she was not a happy bunny, writing: “Known this girl since I was 7, just shows u…” before retweeting: “Dogs have no morals…”
We’re not sure if the girls are going to be too friendly any more.
Joey has stayed quiet on the situation – although he tweeted several times about how much fun he was having at the festival.
The couple – who had been dating for almost three years before they got engaged – split in June after a group holiday to Marbs ended in the pair calling time on their relationship.
Despite Sam appearing to move on, it has been reported she was heartbroken at the time of the split – and we can only imagine this is going to be like adding salt to those wounds.
