Joey as already explored South Africa and Brazil as part of his popular ‘Educating Joey’ series, but producers now want to send him to America to go ‘alien hunting.’

According to reports, Joey will search for extra-terrestrial life in the United States in what will certainly be a hilarious one-off TV special.

A source told a UK newspaper: “Joey is jumpy enough around wild animals, let alone searching for aliens in the dark. He’s really freaked out by the idea, but he wants his show to be a success, so he’s up for giving it a go. Execs think it will be TV gold.”

‘Educating Joey’ executive producer Phil Harris said earlier this year: “Joey’s list of things that he wants to learn about are eclectic to say the least. We can’t wait to bring ITV2 viewers everything from football to aliens the Joey Essex way.”

Joey won’t be the first celebrity to go looking for aliens.

The Kardashian clan went alien hunting in Nevada as part of their reality show and pop star Robbie Williams event contemplated retiring from music so he could search for extra-terrestrial life.

Robbie said in 2008: “I want to go out and investigate these things. I’m stopping being a pop star and being a full-time ufologist.

“I was at the Beverly Hills Hotel lying on my sun lounger at night. Then about 300 foot above me, there was this square thing which just passed over my head silently and then shot off.”
