It’s bad enough telling your other half about a weird phobia, without having to do it on a TV show in front of a studio audience.
But poor Joe Swash was forced to confess his fear of NIPPLES during an appearance on E4’s Virtually Famous – with girlfriend Stacey Solomon in the room.
Revealing his secret to host Kevin McHale, former EastEnders actor Joe, 34, said: “They make me feel really funny. If I see a man’s nipple, or a horse… both times the backs of my eyes feel quite itchy."
He continued:
“I can’t go near or touch a horse, I feel like it might be the death of me.”
Let’s hope Joe never finds himself in a situation where he’s confronted with both a horse and a strange man’s nipples…
Despite his phobia, the telly host insisted he’s not scared of his own nipples – before the camera turned on an awkward looking Stacey.
Mum-of-two Stacey quipped: “Don’t look at me!”
But Joe added: “See Stace, I’d be alright with yours.”
It comes after Stacey was asked on TV, again in front of Joe, if she loved him. After flying out to Austria to support Joe on Channel 4’s The Jump, 26-year-old Stacey was quizzed by presenter Davina McCall.
Davina asked: “Are you in love? Don’t say that word, it’s too early. It’s too early in the relationship.”
A shocked Stacey replied: “Davina!”. But, while she didn’t give an answer, Joe was shown smiling as Stacey stammered.
It’s been an awkward couple of weeks for the couple, following Stacey’s appearance on Loose Women – during which she learned the story behind Joe losing his virginity.
