Jodie, 36, has claimed she’s been the victim of stalker for the the past three years – and the former friend has even sent her death threats.

Speaking to the Daily Star, former glamour model Jodie said: “It’s been stalking and harassment for three years.

“I’ve been a victim for that long. It’s been a lot to go through. Basically, I upset someone without meaning to. But he didn’t take it well and started sending me death threats. It was relentless and because I was single I genuinely felt scared.”

But Jodie admitted she finally feels safe now, thanks to new husband James Placido and her pet Rottweiler.

Despite this, Jodie still refrains from giving away details of her location on Twitter after a particularly sinister threat involving her abseiling equipment.

She previously took part in the challenge in Canary Wharf for charity but, after tweeting about, she received a message which suggested her equipment may be tampered with.

Jodie added: “That was a really bad time. I actually thought he was going to turn up.”

Last month Jodie and James, 24, said ‘I Do’ in a simple yet romantic ceremony in Barbados, and she proudly shared snaps from their big day on social media.

Although she’s been through a lot with her stalker, Jodie is looking forward to her future with James. She said: “I do finally feel safe.”
