Following the heartbreaking tragedy of the Manchester bombing, Jodie Marsh took to Twitter to share her thoughts – but it did not go down well with users.

The bomb attack during Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester arena on Monday killed 22 people, and left over 60 seriously injured.

Many celebrities have come forward to express their sadness at the senseless attack, and one father even wrote Ariana a heartfelt letter that has now gone viral.

Among the celebrities using their social media platform to discuss the events was Jodie, who tweeted the morning after the attack, saying: “Starting today, we need to round up everyone on a terrorist watch list & deport them all. No room in our prisons so get rid of them…"

She continued: “I hope these radicalised terrorists know they are weak, brain washed losers with no mind of their own & that their whole life is pointless.

“Enough is enough. Radicalisation is happening all over. And we’re allowing it.”

But many users were quick to criticise the glamour model, pointing out that many of the terrorists were actually born here in Britain, to which Jodie replied: “Bring back the death penalty and hang them. I don’t care. Just get rid. They aren’t people; they’re animals. Scum.”

Her comments left many outraged, calling her ‘ignorant’ and ‘vile’. But Jodie has come forward to defend her comments, telling her 600k Twitter followers: “If you’re more offended with a woman SPEAKING than of a terrorist blowing up children then there’s something wrong with you…”

When one person replied: “And it’s also possible to be offended by BOTH things… don’t assume one over the other,” Jodie shot back: “So you’re saying the offence is comparable? Mate wake up. You can’t compare actually killing children to the thoughts of a woman on the radio.”

Jodie’s own outrage was sparked by news that her friend, Katie Hopkins, lost her job on LBC radio this week following her own controversial tweet after the bomb attack.
