The 36-year-old star opened up on Instagram late on Tuesday night to tell her followers she had wed the ‘love of her life’ in a secret wedding ceremony.
In a snap posted on the photo sharing website, Jodie an James’ wedding bands can be seen as well as her sparkler of an engagement ring.
‘I have news’ Jodie wrote.
‘I just married the love of my life, my soul mate, my best friend; James Placido I love you and I’m so proud to be your wife.’
Jodie also made her intentions known for married life, telling her beau: ‘I promise to love you, support you, encourage you, help you and I promise to make you laugh every day of our lives.’
Marsh has managed to keep her latest lover out of the spotlight for the most part, after enjoying a string of high profile relationships such as that with fellow star irk Norcross.
But a friend of the model was quick to explain why this is, writing: ‘Jodie’s husband is awesome. She has kept it quiet because it’s super special to them both. Congratulations you two. You’ve got a good one sweetheart. Love and blessings always.’
