Jodie Marsh has had the ultimate body transformation over the years, going from busty glamour model to hard-as-nails body builder, so it’s fair to say she knows a thing or two about working out.

But it seems that the 37-year-old is more than frustrated at other celebs that undergo body transformation, only then to cash in with a fitness line that doesn't really help people in the longterm.

Speaking to Reveal, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant told how she thought 15 minute quick fixes outlined by “20 and 22-year-olds” simple weren’t good enough to have a lasting effect of your health and fitness.

Loved-up Jodie – who married partner James Placido on the 26th August 2015 in a secret ceremony in Barbados - said:

"I'm 37, I'm no spring chicken, yet I still have a good body, so I'm living proof that if you do it right, you can always look good."

She went on to explain that having a good core and definition helps keep you in good shape, even if you don’t have time to work out regularly. She went on:

“Some of these girls who bring out DVDs are 20- and 22-year-olds, and I think, 'You should have a good body at that age!'… All that 'get a six-pack in 15 minutes' stuff is rubbish.

"No way will you work out for 15 minutes and get a body like that. You've got to follow a good diet and do the right kind of exercise for your body."

The reality star pointed out that such quick-fix targets are unattainable for women of an older age category.

The list of celebrity fitness DVDsis endless, and some of the most ‘quick-fix’ solutions include, Lauren’s [Goodger] OMG! Workout, Charlotte Crosby's 3 Minute Blitz series and Vicky Pattison’s 7 Day Slim.

However, with the likes of ex Geordie Shore star Vicky hitting the millionaire markthanks to her fitness range, we doubt she’ll take the remarks too heavily…

Jodie, who has her own sports nutrition supplements line also recently told OK Magazine:

"I have a few bugbears in the world of celebrity health and fitness," making her distate for the trend very clear.

The former model recently pledged to fans on Instagram:

“I'm not 22 and I'm not naturally skinny (nor should we aspire to be - we should want to be fit, strong and healthy.

“At 37, I swear that my body is good because of having a good healthy diet, doing a little exercise every day and using my supplements in the right way."

What do you think of Jodie’s comments?
