Jodie Marsh sat down with This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to open up about her marriage, which recently broke down after eight months.

The reality star and bodybuilder insisted that she didn’t want to speak about estranged husband James Placido, before adding: “I’m not going to talk about the disaster that was my marriage other than I am very embarrassed."

The 37-year-old added: "I have had the worst luck when it comes to picking the right guy. Love is blind…”

Jodie, who had abstained from sex for five years before tying the knot with James in a surprise Barbados ceremony, revealed recently that she planned to conceive a baby via surrogate.

Taking to Twitter to reveal her decision, Jodie wrote: “The future is this: I’m making 2 more shows for @tlc_uk then I’m going to revisit having a baby via sperm donation #itsallaboutME.”

Explaining why she broke her celibacy vow to be with James, she told Holly and Phil that he had promised her a baby of her own.

She said: "I met James and thought I was in love as he convinced me that I didn't need a sperm donor because we were perfect for each other.

“Obviously that's not the case.”

Jodie went on to reveal that the experience has shaken her faith in love, and that she now intends to give up sex forever.

She said: “I have been very stupid in the past, I'm embarrassed of pretty much every boyfriend I've had.”

"I have exhausted partners, I just can't do it anymore… I can't put myself out there trying to find love and have it thrown in my face."

It echoes her previous promise on Instagram, which saw Jodie share a naked photo with her fans.

She captioned it: “I was celibate for 5 years, I'll now be celibate for another 5. But that doesn't have to mean being a good girl.

“Now that ZOO magazine has gone, I feel obliged to give you a treat on here occasionally..... Good Morning everyone. Have a GREAT day.”
