Jodie Kidd is going to launch the UK's first ever nationwide live treasure hunt - and the prize is a brand new VW Golf.

The 38-year-old supermodel has teamed up with Compare The Meerkat for the exciting and innovative competition, which shows the brand new car "hidden in plain sight."

The car has a live feed on the Compare The Market site so that participants can see whereabouts the car is.

It's quite a simple competition too - the first to guess the "iconic" location of the car will win the keys to it.

Entrants have only been given 36 hours to find the car by viewing the live feed and working out whereabouts the car might be hidden in the country.

Clues will be added to the video every so often which will help entrants figure out where it is before the competition closes at 5pm tomorrow (Friday 22).

Jodie said: "It's been a lot of fun shooting in our secret setting this morning. I don't want to give the game away, but I will say it's a truly iconic location.

"I'll be staying tuned to the live stream to see what other clues pop up throughout the next couple of days. There's lots in store!"

The Compare The Market Twitter page will also be offering hints and tips, and the official hashtag is #hideandbeep.
